This was my 20th Moondog Jr./Zita Swoon performance, but unfortunately it was one of the worst I've seen. The guys didn't seem to be relaxed as during the other shows in the last week. This resulted in nearly no interaction with the audience. Since I arrived somewhat late, I had to watch the show from the back, which of course also didn't help. But I think it was too crowded (the small hall would have been much better), and there was way too much background noise.

Afterwards, I had a small talk with Tom and I asked him about his feelings on the show. He agreed that it was a pretty mediocre show. As reasons he gave the setlist and the terrible monitor sound. He also thought that the Antwerp and Den Haag gigs were much better.

I also asked him about his recent activities. Tom is not involved in the theatre/dance play; Aarich, Stef and Bjorn do participate. Tom is now working on a piece for five horns for his new solo album. It is not clear when and under which name it will be released. He suggested Osdorp Posse, since then many people would visit his shows.

I met one of my dEUS/Zita Swoon friends at the show...a really sweet girl who knows Stef pretty good. After two songs we both looked at each other thinking that the show wasn't getting off a good start...then she remembered Stef really really dislikes this venue...it showed alright....he tried though!

I was in heaven anyway, cuz they played Richochet!!! The ending was just thrilling!!!! Such a voice!!!!!!!
