I finally saw Zita Swoon last night! And I have some bad news for the few of us in the U.S.... NY was Zita Swoon's ONLY U.S. show for now. They are really trying to get signed/distribution in the US and apparantly this show was an important "showcase" for them. They got into NY about three days ago and are going back to Belgium today. There were only maybe 75 people there, but it was promising because Stef said that there were music industry people there checking them out and very positive. Hopefully it won't be long before they are back here for a full tour. They were the first band on, so they only played for about 35-40 minutes! But, I got there early and had a chance to hear the entire sound check (an unbelievable 30 minutes long).

Unfortunately there was no merchandise available... But I did take a poster off the wall with Stef's permission. I talked for a long time with Stef and Thomas... a great thrill!!! I would post a set list but I forget half of the names... only remember the usual few: Song for a dead singer, tv song, ragdoll blues, Jintro (closed with that - awesome!) I NEEEEEEEED this CD. Help!
