Last night it was another night of pure pleasure an disco!

The Zita Swoon concert in Lisboa was a pure blast. Beware for today in Porto. The guys are real rock machines and playing better than ever. The band was in a good mood opened with a different version of She=Like Meeting Jesus, more quiet soft drums, nice synths, creating space in the song and delivering a beautiful harmony between the voices. The power was all there, never lost. From that moment on the band delivered powerful versions of Ice Guitars, Moondog, Fun For Free, Banana Queen was a total blast, and many other songs (setlist below). Stef played a lot with the audience, dancing, talking, playing guitar. They were feeling a bit uncomfortable at the beginning of the show due to the sound on stage but then Stef introduced the band and invited people to dance and we did. The ice cracked and the party was on. Tomas was wild also. The concert was not very long, almost 90 minutes but it was very intense. We loved. There were a lot more people on the venue that i was expecting to. Very close to full house. Full house there it should be around 2500 seats. Maybe 2000 on the house. The boys are rocking here :-))

After the show, me, Carolina, Laura and Javi were able to meet the guys backsatge. Steph was very tired but nice and we handed him his copy of the Cover CD "Let's Get SUEd". He was already waiting for one and said he was very curious about it. We talked a bit about the concert, the CD, about he singing with Tom again. He said that there was a slight possibility of him joining Tom here in Portugal. That would be amazing.

Well that was about it for the night. I guess it was nice, free tickets, fantastic show, meeting the band... :-)) loved it. I am not going to Porto today but for all who will have a fantastic night.

Stef played a lot with the audience, dancing, talking, playing guitar.

A lot?? Ahah joke! More than a lot! (note: last gig I saw was GYBE....) He danced\jumped\screamed ALOT! & taught us some cool choreographies for those songs!

Anyway, he didn't mention Stef played a bit of drums, in the funniest way! First he "blessed" himself & only then played. he was really great, short but great! Tomas also played drums in some song, because Aarich was doing some percussion & he did it really great, as well.

It was really disco. Aula Magna is an university auditorium(with chairs!), so it felt really weird seeing it with disco lights & disco sounds! they had those disco lamps, those bals that go arround. It was a joy though to listen to Ice guitars, Moondog, Maria, Josie witchgirl. Maria Specially.

I must stress the fact that Stef was really tired, & there were some odd incidents "Chaotic" was the word used by Bjorn "It's chaotic down there, now" (when I asked him to let us see Stef) Lawrence(?) passed thru us really pissed off. We had to return back a couple of times. But finally Bjorn came & get us! Only because Stef really wanted the cd! He was really curious, he even said he would sleep with it that night!! I asked him to post his review about the cover cd. He said he would do it.

Remember once I said I was in an fashion exhibition in Antwerp (in Oudan 5) & Aarich had been interviewed but I wasn't able to see his video? So I asked him & he told me the whole story. the question was "what was the incident that affected you the most, related with fashion" his answer: He had to make a sweeter, a wool sweeter when he was in school! it was green like that army green. No sleeves.

Tom Pintens is a really cute bloke! the way he is..

& then Tomas De Smet (!!!!!) came in & I raved with him about TOO, I asked WHY don't you come to portugal, he said he would like, but no one invited them, yet.. Let's do something about it!!! I also told him to listen to the dEUS cover cd & told him that possibly there would be as well a ZS cover & he said it would be awesome, he would love to listen to it. & asked me if I would play any song!HAHHA me!!! & then we had an awesome discussion about music & instruments. He is a very funny character! Very stylish.

All in all it was great! & I also had a chance to speak in dutch with Aarich! & he understood me! ;-)

They were really nice!

Stef is said to be shy, but that night he wasn't.
